A book about prevention, identification, and long-term management of survivable medical conditions.

In the event of an actual emergency in your region, you may be lacking in emergency services as they are over-extended trying to reach everyone at once, or unable to get to you due to road conditions or weather. During this time it is imperative you find a way to take care of yourself, or those around you.

When a medical emergency arises, this book will guide you through how to handle it so you don't need to rely on someone else. Being self reliant means you can take care of these things without needing outside assistance. Find out how to dress wounds, handle certain bites, and even how to suture wounds.

This book provides the basis of prevention, identification, and long-term management of survivable medical conditions and can be performed with minimal training. It helps you identify sources of materials you will need and should stock-pile, it discusses storage issues, and directs you to sources for more complex procedures that require advanced concepts of field-expedient techniques used by trained medical persons such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, dentists, or midwifes and obstetricians.
